Small town North Carolina’s loss was definitely our gain when this year’s Realtor of the Year moved to Central Florida over 30 years ago. Although initially owning her own Pack and Ship business, she parlayed the qualities of helpfulness, service, honesty, integrity and friendliness into a very successful real estate career. She will end this year as one of top selling agents in our entire association.
But stellar sales numbers aren’t only what make this Realtor exceptional. She has served in Association leadership both on the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and as a member or Chair of several of our committees. She has also served on the Board of the HBA as Associate Vice-President, as well as being active with both the American Cancer Society and Rotary Club. Every year she donates a large sum of money to a local charity in the names of her clients in lieu of individual gifts and notifies them of such.
She is a consistent RPAC Sterling R major donor and has attended both the state and national Realtor’s convention, and Mid-winter meetings consistently. She attends virtually all RALSC activities and events. She holds both the BPOR and SFR designation and is working actively on her GRI.
Above all that, she is loved and lauded by many, many Realtors as one of the hardest working, yet most ethical and fair Realtor they know or have worked with. It is certainly my privilege to award our association’s highest honor, the 2014 Realtor of the Year award, to LORETTA MAIMONE.
