To say 2020 has been a year to remember seems like an understatement. At this time last year, none of us could have foreseen the events that have shaken our nation and our world.
But as Team Maimone looks back on 2020, we see it as a year to remember in a number of other ways. We remember the smiles on our clients’ faces. The excitement of our many first-time homebuyers. The joy of the families who have found their dream home. The gratitude expressed when a client’s property goes under contract. And of course, the satisfaction we feel as we have the opportunity to work with client after client, family after family, home after home.
Because we’re in the people business above all, Team Maimone chooses to express our gratitude each year to colleagues and clients—who are also our friends—for your assistance, your referrals, and your support by making a generous gift in your name to a worthy charity. In this year to remember, we’ve chosen Lake Cares Food Pantry as the recipient of this gift.
As many in our area experience the devastation of reduced paychecks and layoffs combined with limited or no funds set aside for emergencies, Lake Cares works directly with those in need to offer food and other essential items. With the numbers of those most vulnerable continuing to rise, we know our gift on our clients’ behalf will make a difference in many lives.
